Let the Games Begin
Please join Neighborhood Public Radio for the opening of Southern Exposure’s 30th anniversary exhibition titled “The Way We Work” on Friday September 10th from 7-9pm. If you can’t make that (or even if you can) you should try to catch our first full broadcast titled “NY is my Neighborhood” on September 11th from 1-5pm.
Neighborhood Public Radio will be participating in Southern Exposure’s “The Way We Work” show by broadcasting 4 days a week for 4 hours a day beginning September 10th until October 23rd. Broadcast will be from 4-8pm Wed. - Fri. and 1-5 on Saturday.
Saturday’s inaugural broadcast will feature an interview with Jonathan Schell, author of “A Hole in the World” and a columnist for “The Nation” magazine, reporting from the recent Republican National Convention in New York from Enemy Combatant Radio’s Sarah Olson, phone calls with various New Yorkers, and a 2 hour radio drama produced by sound designer and KALX DJ Greg Scharpen.

Thanks for your support. We look forward to seeing you at the opening or at any of the numerous upcoming events.

howdy all. this sounds great except(!) there is no frequency posted!! let’s get that fixed! and i am very excited to see a low power station that really takes on the challenge of serving the community fully with more than automated playlists.
i can’t wait to tune in from my mission district apartment.
