Home Again
This was just sent as an email…..
We’re home again, and it feels good.
We all finally got back into town from Chicago on Sunday evening and it’s taken a couple of days to get back into the groove.
For those who only check the web site when we send emails, you should take a look. We managed to keep a daily blog going for the whole show. We haven’t put up any photos yet and we didn’t do a post for our very last day, and MP3s still need to be put up on the server and linked, but we really are working to provide you all with more documentation of the fun stuff we’re up to. We’re also trying to update at least a coupla times a week.
Anyway, visit us often to catch up on the latest blog entries (and follow the links to all of our friends).
And if that’s not enough documentation for you, come by our report back event from Chicago at Artist’s Television Access, 992 Valencia Street in SanFrancisco. The event starts at 8pm and will include videos about public and low-power broadcasting, videos from the festival, interviews by phone with folks from Version festival, including the head organizer of the festival Ed Marszewski, and recollections from the fine folks at NPR about their experiences in Chicago. We will also have fancy new t-shirts for sale. $10/cheap. And announcements about our upcoming trip to Serbia with accompanying European tour.
Because of a scheduling SNAFU, Jon will not be able to join us, as his show, Door to Door is opening at the Richmond Art Center . Also we would like to mention that our friend Scarlot Harlot from the Indecency programming in February has informed us that this week is the time of the Sex Workers Film and Art Fest too. So in between all of the Sex Worker events and maybe after stopping by the Richmond Art Center, we do hope you can fit us in to your busy schedule at 8pm this Friday May 6th.
