We’re Back

March has come to a close and NPR is getting it’s legs again. We’ve added some names to our list, so if this is your first message, welcome… you can unsubscribe at anytime by clicking the link at the bottom. We won’t take it personally. Though we might still be sad…for just a moment.

For the rest of you… If you’ll recall, our last missive informed you that we would be taking the month of March for some Research and Development time. We have, in fact researched and developed and now we are ready to start making plans and sending occasional emails again. Unfortunately we have only just begun a server upgrade and as a result the website (http://www.conceptualart.org/npr) may be a bit erratic for the next week or so. When we finally get this all done we will have all our archives available for you to listen to… Especialy…the archives you’ve all been waiting for…. The archives for the Indecency broadcasts. In the future we should be getting these things done far more quickly, but for now please be patient with our somewhat persistent vegetative state.

At this point you all are surely wondering when our next broadcast will be. Well…our next broadcast will be in a whole new neighborhood. We will start the process of realizing the dream we have always had of bringing NPR to cities all over the world, and it all will begin in Chicago from April 22nd – May 1st. We are still working out all the details of our programming but you will be the first to know once we’ve nailed it all down. The reason we are going to Chicago, specifically, is to participate in the Version festival. More info on them can be found here:

If you know people in Chicago or plan to be in Chicago…spread the word that we will be there. We are also looking for interesting Chicagoans to have on the air, so send them to us by email:

Beyond that bit of travel news, we have a number of other monthly events that we are planning, and some possible publicity…but nothing confirmed enough to mention here. Look for a video screening at Artist’s Television Access sometime in May…and just keep looking out for the latest by email and on the web site.
