RC07: Top 40!
On May 12th, Neighborhood Public Radio turned up the volume and aimed its mutherfuckin’ microphones at local musicians, noisemakers, electronic wizards, and sound-guerillas of every shape and size. Just when NPR looked like it was settling into a familiar role as output of exciting, unexpected talk-radio projects, the producers made a jump to the dance floor. Below you’ll hear a wild variety of music-making madness, with a nod towards the stuff you’d rarely, if ever, hear on the radio.

Equipment ready and waiting
12:00pm - 1:00pm - Alternate Soundtrack 04
A reprise of the Alternate Soundtrack City Tour 04 (Boombox Edition), whereby Lee walked around with his cellphone and a music player and captured both the sound from the street and of the music he was playing, sending that live to the studio where Jon Brumit processed it in real time.
