So it was Friday, April 20th. I took a boombox up to Dolores Park to play State of Mind Station recordings for the passers-by. I was surprised that there weren’t very many people around.

The awesome photographer Kelly was with me and she reminded me that it was April 20th, aka 4/20, which is apparently a religious holiday for many.

So we packed up the boombox and drove to the Haight.
