NPR and Soex - Reunited and Relocated

NPR in 2004 at Southern Exposure
So after a couple of years of globetrotting and exploring other mission bourne neighbors Neighborhood Public Radio is returning to Southern Exposure thanks to a generous grant from the Creative Work Fund. Southern Exposure has just moved into their new space at 25th and Mission in SanFrancisco. It’s a beautiful new space and it’s got our favorite thing…. a storefront window!!!!!! So … of course… we’ve set up a little studio right there in the window… on the corner of 25th and Mission. It’s a bustling corner, and we’re very excited to start broadcasting in it.
Starting this month we will do a broadcast on the second Saturday of each of the next 8 months from 1-5pm. Broadcast dates will be November 11th, December 9th, January 13th, February 10th, March 10th, April 14th, May 12th, and June 9th … so mark your calendars now. Each month will have it’s own theme and this month it’s "Relocation".
Our first broadcast will be Saturday November 11th from 1-5pm and will be preceeded by a gallery opening on Friday night. Friday night we will be delivering an artist’s talk from 6:30 - 7:00pm and will do a free form broadcast throughout the evening until about 9pm. Then the real fun begins.
Saturday, the schedule will be as follows:
| 1:00pm | Mars is Heaven - a radio play written by Ray Bradbury and produced by Linda Arnejo and Luke Boyd with full cast |
| 1:30pm | Won’t You Be My Neighbor - LeE talks to Karen Heisler about Pie Ranch and Marc Tognotti about the "Neighborhood Assemblies Network" |
| 2:00pm | Katina Papson and Theo |
| 2:30pm | The Starve Zone - Michael Starve talks about immigration and the recent elections |
| 3:00pm | Zeffrey Throwell talks to Fred of One Big Man with One Big Truck |
| 3:30pm | Whizz has a conversation (or two) about Immigration |
| 4:00pm | Chris Sollars and Jerome Wagg talk about "The Flavor of Democracy" |
| 4:30pm | Trish Stone relocates herself to "Second Life" |
See you all this weekend!!! Thank you for your support!!!!!!
